See Change Community Services exists to serve the people of the Sutherland Shire and Greater Southern Sydney. Help is available through our Esteem Programs for women, âUnlimitedâ addictions recovery, community education and training programs and REACH - an annual blitz of community service to make a positive difference in our community. See Change Counselling and Medical Centre, located at 1A/2-4 Merton street Sutherland provides relationship counselling, addictions counselling, premarital counselling and the prepare and enrich courses. Psychology with Medicare rebate is available with GP referral. Our senior psychologist Val Townsend is a both a registered psychologist and nurse. Val has a bachelor's degree in Social Science-Psychology, a Graduate Diploma in Science-Psychology. She has spent many years working with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, sexual and emotional abuse, trauma, grief as well as clients who have difficulty in relationships and with families.
