FS provides national application for major business to include integrated services in Warehousing, Wharf Cartage, Road and Rail distribution. These services are driven by a globally accepted IT package which allows the client to operate in a paperless system and the transparency for the client to track in real time all facets of the operation.Warehousing: FS provides 12 warehouses across Australia, one in each capital city and 6 strategic regional facilities. All warehouses are AGSAFE accredited and are licensed for the storage and handling of Dangerous and Hazardous products some have major hazard facility status. These warehouses are all equipped with our state of the art integrated Warehouse Management System and Transport IT Platform. Road and Rail Services (Intercapital): FS provides a national road and rail grid for movement of product from manufacturer to our warehouse network. The road component is predominately by company owned (80%) vehicles, including single, double, B triple and Road train combinations. Our rail operation operates in partnership with Linfox who see us as a major client from west to eastern seaboard. Rural Australia distribution: FS provides daily services from each capital city to those states country areas overnight (some exceptions depending on distance). FS is not a response carrier and only services major corporations; we have had relationships in this area up to 21 years with many clients. Predominately our clients need a âone stopâ approach for their rural distribution. Specialty Services: FS are heavily involved in the SA wine industry through our operation in Berri SA. We provide a total service to the grower, the wine maker and then to the consumer market. We provide the bins to the grower to pick into which are then lifted onto our trailers by our rough terrain forklifts and taken to the crusher, from there our tankers take the product to the winemaker. Freight Specialists is one of two lead carriers to the Constellation Group (Hardyâs Wines) where we supply the end delivery of packaged product to Sydney and Melbourne
